A Beautiful Sterling Silver Channel Inlay Ring, Inlaid with the Cremation Ashes of a beloved Pet. This listing features the Black Keepsake Ring in particular which is very popular. I receive many requests for providing some way of remembrance in jewellery, of a loved Dog, Cat, or other pet. This ring is an attractive, unusual and subtle way of keeping those memories alive and close. The ‘Colour’ versions are achieved using a mix of the ashes and crushed seashell. (Please see photos). The band is 5.8mm wide with the Ashes Inlay at 3.8mm. Highly Polished and perfectly smooth it provides a loving focus on your hand.

Please choose your size and colour (choose ‘colourless’ for just the ashes without added coloured shell) (choose your usual normal ring size, I will need to make it a 1/4 size larger to allow for the ring band width but I will do that from your normal size) and make your purchase.

When you have placed your order you will receive a message with the address to send your Ashes. It only requires a small amount, about a teaspoon. Due to the very personal nature of this item it is individually made specifically for you with respect and care and can therefore take up to 5 days (although often less) to be made and dispatched with your ashes, after receiving them.

Please be aware that individual uncoloured ashes are like fingerprints and will vary slightly in colour.

Care Guidelines: The inlay will be coated with a hard protective resin coat. Avoid strong solvents such as nail varnish remover. A wax based furniture type polish can be used to revive the shine. It is best worn as a dress ring rather than for everyday things such as gardening, car maintenance etc.

The sending of any personal items (such as ashes for cremation jewelry) required for inclusion in a custom piece of jewellery, is the responsibility of the customer and may include additional customs or import charges levied when coming into the UK. While ashes don't usually attract any additional charge, if you choose to ship by Express Couriers for example via a private courier, UK Customs & Excise may require Import VAT for me to receive them. Evidence will be provided to the customer of any charges levied and paid by Kelandy Designs in order to receive your items through the UK Customs system, and payment will be required in respect of reimbursement of these charges before your finished items are dispatched to your respective country.

Sizing is important when making individual rings. While some ‘resizing’ is possible in some cases, those rings containing an inlay cannot be resized without having to redo any inlay that is already in place. It is therefore imperative that a correct size is provided before the ring is completed, especially for inlaid ashes rings. There is a sizing chart for various countries with the equivalent UK size in the last picture of all the ring adverts. If in doubt, please try to pop into a jeweller to confirm your size before ordering.

Etsy policies don’t not allow the sale of jewellery with human ashes so all the adverts for memorial jewellery at Kelandy Designs are for Pet Ashes.
However, Etsy does allow me to provide a link for you to contact me if you would like to further discuss having the same style of jewellery made with the ashes of a loved one who has passed.

If I could give 10 stars or more I would. We had matching rings made from ashes of our most beloved dog Tosh. Andy has been amazing throughout and held our hands through the process which is an emotional thing. Our rings arrived yesterday, they are so beautiful.
